The effect of piped water supply on the incidence of typhoid fever and diarrhoeal diseases in the City of Lusaka was reported. The incidence of typhoid fever and diarrhoeal diseases reduced in the City as the piped drinking water was extended to the Urban
and peri Urban self-help settlements.
